- TIPSのBDの説明ですが、思いっきり間違っている点がありますので、修正をおすすめします。
間違いは、BD-Rの材料です。「無機色素」と言われていますが、無機材料はそもそも「色素」ではありません。
金属膜で、BD-REの何度も変化が起こせないものです。正確には「無機膜」と表記した方がよいでしょう。
また、LTHですが、有機色素を用いた場合にLTHとなったのは安定した材料がたまたまLTHだったということかと。
つまり、HTLよりもLTHの方が良い材料があったということです。
材料提供メーカーは、僕が知る限り三菱化学と三井化学が有名ですね。
付け加えますと、BD-RのLTHの場合、イングルーブ記録になります。BD-REやBD-R無機ではオングルーブ記録です。
両者では、信号が反転しているだけでなく、トラッキング極性も異なります。
このため、ドライブは、BD-Rメディアの場合にトラッキング極性を変更することができるように設計されている必要もあります。

- I completely agree with Brandon, this is not a good tutorial for any web developer at this point in time. Sure, it’s nice and fancy, but it’s not helpful in the current internet environment.
