名前： YOU: 前のスレッドでLGドライブは12倍速DVD-RAMが書き込めないと投稿しましたが、私の知識不足でしたので訂正させていただきます。
お騒がせして、申し訳ございませんでした。

12倍DVD-RAMが書き込めなかったのは、DVD-RAMドライバが、BHA社にOEM供給されていたVer4.2.2.0をインストールしていたためでした。

パナソニック社OEMドライブ用ドライバVer5.3.0.1(Biu-ray/DVD-RAM対応)をWINDOWS-XPにインストールしたところ、問題なくフォーマット、書込みが出来ました。

ただし、12倍速対応DVD-RAMドライブでもパイオニア、オプティアーク、日立製等の1部ドライブでは旧バージョンのドライバでも12倍速RAMを正常に扱えますので、バージョンアップは必要ありません。

Blu-rayドライブや最新DVD-RAMドライブを使用しているユーザーはXP、2000のRAMドライバの更新が必要なようです。

Vista-SP1には、OEMバージョンのパナソニック社供給ドライバが標準で搭載されているようですので、新たにドライバのインストールをする必要はないようです。

なお、パナソニックOEMドライバのインストールはパナソニック社製のDVD-RAMドライブの接続が必要となります。
